A Peace Deal: The Best Possible Options in Iran

This is what a Strategic outcome looks like: Saturday, April 11, 2026 0 Comments

The Overarching COGNITIVE PRINCIPLE 2284:

The Hardest thing in International Relations is to Structure

Peace Deal negations! US-Israel negotiations are best to

focus on One issue - a lasting nuclear deal with Iran!

President Trump competes with time in Iran. He wants to reverse a trend shaping International Relations, where regional self-governance precedes unilateral capabilities of U.S.A. & Israel. In my view, this trend limits long-term military success due to regional forces resisting long-term interventions in any Region away from home (in Iran as an example).

Therefore, President Trump is trying to bend time in his favour in this war, however, he fast forwards U.S. intervention in Iran under Israeli command and this can cause a severe ECONOMIC & Military defeat. This puts a lot of pressure on the President and causes irrational judgements at home as well. He is much better off to Sanction Iran from this point on & military pressure Iran until a nuclear deal is reached.

Book me below if Questions for DISCUSSION:

In my view, this requires closing Iran sea trade from the Gulf of Oman & expediting energy trade from the rest of the gulf state - from Oman or Saudi Arabia. This requires infrastructure building & President Trump will be more successful at building such infrastructure than expanding war efforts in Iran by sending troop in this country.

In view of the above, there is only one strategic objective for U.S. President & Israel. It is called a nuclear deal with Iran, where Iran has to give up all their nuclear material enriched above 20%. This is the international limit for Enrichment of uranium. This has to be monitored by international team of nuclear scientists and military personnel. Needless to say, this treaty has to apply to all countries in the region and the World as well. This is where UN has a role to play in Iran and all other non-nuclear countries in the region and around the WORLD!

The other objectives are non-strategic objectives as one cannot impose a limit on ballistic missiles on Iran when all regional states enjoy no limits. In addition, these missiles can be easily destroyed by B2 Bombers at any time provided they appear a threat to regional peace. This makes the ballistic missile program more of a bilateral agreement among all Gulf states & Middle East states, on the one hand, & Iran, on the other hand. Basically US-Israel cannot impose limits as these are not illegal weapons in accordance with International Law, however, they can negotiate range of these weapons on a bilateral basis between Iran & all Gulf/Middle East countries.

As to Iranian proxies, the threat here goes to countries that are hosting such organizations. Meaning if they do allow Iranian proxies on their territory then they are liable for these groups. This suggests a possible regime change or war against the countries that host such terror groups or groups that are targeting Israel. This is the structure of the negotiations and USA will be more successful if they focus on one issue in this war - a nuclear deal.

Hormuz Strait is best to stay closed for Iran as a leverage or until a nuclear deal is reached & Sanctions are lifted. There is no trade benefit for U.S.A. as most of Iran's sanctioned trade is with BRICS countries. There are trade alternatives for all other Gulf states to ramp up trade with the rest of the World through Oman, Saudi Arabia, railroad and road transport, east-west oil & gas infrastructure, etc..
