A major challenge of modern management science is constituted by the inability of management professionals to align strategy and process to the rapidly altering business environment and thus to enhance organizational sustainability and efficiency. Efforts of the academic community and arguments of business managers, in this regard, filter down to enhancing managerial practices and building integrated models of governance that correspond to the evolving internal and external business dynamics. The aspiration is to enhance organizational competencies and manage organizational sustainability. It is commonly perceived that constant process of controlling inevitably leads to an increase in company's performance and asset base.
