     Strait of Hormuz is not the Problem but Politicians who are stuck with Low Intellectual PROPERTY. The war in Iran is obviously a big Mistake. It cannot be won by air raids and victory definitely cannot be accomplished form the Ground. If U.S.A.-Israel wants to keep Iran on a leash through sanctions and military pressure then this is fine; however, war and economics do not go together hand in hand.

     A new approach is needed to diminish both: the military & economic impact of the war in Iran. I call this approach ‘the first best option in the war with Iran’. In particular, it is Best to: 1. Defeat the pirates in Yemen with a possible regime change as Yemen is a much smaller country than Iran causing greater regional Disturbance and 2. To expand logistics and shipping infrastructure in Oman in order to mitigate or substitute the negative impact of shipping oil & gas through the Start of Hormuz.

      By doing so, trade limits imposed by Iran will only hurt Iranians themselves as a U.S.A blockade will keep the straight of Hormuz closed due to Sanctions, while all the rest of the region can export through the ports of OMAN. Iran is never going to allow US-EU ships passing through the Strait unless the war comes to an end with some sort of an agreement. Alternatively, U.S.A. & EU can become BRICS members and get a free PASS. As I have argued on many occasions Iran’s BRICS membership have entrenched the country into a trading block and all members have certain privileges or passes for economic partnership.

     USA & Israel have disrespected international norms without proper Diplomatic effort to resolve all disputes with Iran and now all are paying the economic price. Any ground escalation will prove U.S. & Israel incapable of winning on the ground. In particular, heavy casualties and costly logistics will Marr this Conflict into another Vietnam. The best option for USA & Arabs is to build new ports and INFRASTRUCTURE in Oman and get all Saudi, Kuwait, Qatari, Bahrain, etc. oil and gas shipped from the infrastructure in OMAN.

     Lack of Decision-making Discipline in this war has set the stage for strategic failure in Iran. I have no doubt that President Trump has best intentions for USA in this war but it seems he has overstretched US-Israeli military capabilities; thus, exposing military personnel & civilians to many dangers in the conflict. I have to say that a great leader looks after the safety of his military and takes only necessary risks. The risks involved in this Conflict are far from necessary and when fast forwarded many errors in judgement can cause predicaments that will easily multiply in environment marked by insecurity rather than negotiated outcomes from a position of Strength as President Reagan would have done and accomplished in such war Circumstances.
